Ablative Tile Tiles

Have you ever been searching for examples of ablative armor on the web and then on a lark one day you end up typing it into Amazon just to see what comes up? Of course you haven’t; you’re sane.

I have, of course, done that. And what did I find besides a bunch of phone cases?

The middle one is darker because it has two tiles stacked. Light refraction at work, kids!

Game tokens!

Those are game tokens for a game called Space Wing. I’d never heard of it. I’ll probably never hear about it again. But apparently the game’s spaceships can use ablative armor and that’s the way you keep track of how much ablative armor you have.

That’s about it. Nothing more to say, really. I now have tokens that say “ablative armor.” Seriously, where is my life at, right now?

What am I going to do with them? They’re too small to put near my custom Iron Man Ablative statue. More than likely I’ll put one in front of the custom Iron Man Ablative Armor action figure that I’m having sculpted…that I’ve been waiting on for over a year. So until then, these little tiles are just going to sit on my desk. Being ablative.

Well, that’s all. Go read some other ablative blogs that are much more impressive.
